In 2021, our Shrimp Chips premiered at Outsidelands and went viral on the internet seizing the attention of the Try Guys, Reggie Watts and TwayDaBae through our #GrandmaApproved campaign. This project was a labor of love, originating from the collaboration of Kevin Madrigal Galindo, Eiselle Ty, and Potli. When regulatory obstacles paused production, our supporters united and penned letters to the DCC to expand their dried seafood goods classification. We unveiled our third printed zine, Courage over Comfort, as a printed newspaper to share our activism through #StopAAPIHate and #BlackandAsianAlliance and amplify conversations around food, culture, and stories of resilience through the pandemic. In 2022, we presented a vegan Potato version for the hemp-derived market and promptly sold out across the nation.
